Energy and Chakras - One way of looking at our ages.

When you sign up for Reiki, Crystals or Auricfield Tuning courses, the information on chakras can be helpful to gain an understanding of how our energy follows our chakras.

Most people look at their own age to see where they are at now and how it relates. If you are over 50, the return age means you go back to your base chakra energy again. If you are 52 then in your base, if you are 64 you are in your solar plexus. Events in your younger years may come up again. For example in your early 50's it can be a time of starting again, new beginnings, much the same as your birth to 7 years old.

These are the basic idea of ages but in today's modern world things have very much changed. But as with nature, we may find we still go back to the basic blueprint. Everything is changeable and it is energy. Living in the moment is the key to a happy life. Find yourself in the moment as much as possible. Change your thoughts - Change your life.

Chakras.........

Chakras are THE most important learning necessity for healings.  To have a great understanding of the colours, energy, areas of the physical and etheric body and how they relate to the life of someone will accelerate your ability to carry out healings and for the client to move forward in their life.  Sharpening your intuition will be easy once you have grasped the basic principles of chakras.

For the purpose of Auricfield Tuning healing we concentrate on the seven basic chakras of the body.  Chakras are vortex of energy throughout the body.  Energy blocks can get stuck in the chakras making you feel tired or depleted in energy.  Chakras need to be open.  They can shut down from shock or accidents.  It is becoming more widely known that the patterns of our lives are contained within the chakras and in the auric layer and have long lasting effects.  This can be good happenings as well as the more unsettling things in our upbringing.  No matter what you have experienced, the marks of those incidents held within our energetic system can be rippled and shifted to move us away from those repetitive thoughts.

Mastery of the lower three chakras is required for security, creation and wisdom.  Front of chakras are how you present yourself to others, and the back of the chakras is how other peoples energy effects you.

The heart chakra is the gateway between the lower and higher aspects of the self.  The energy comes in through your crown chakra at the top of the head, having begun in the Universe and beyond.  It filters its way through your thoughts, your voice, your heart, out through your tail bone into the earth’s energy to ground and begin to energize the inspiration.  Then returning from Mother Earth fully grounded, through your base chakra, sacral to begin the creation with emotions, the solar plexus to give pace and feeling the excitement of what is to come.  Through your heart now you feel you are fully loving the new idea, then passing through your throat as you begin to speak of your brilliance and wonder, into your mind, re-connecting with the Universe fully born as a wondrous idea.

Let us discover the chakras and see where you fit in.

Root Chakra number 1 – Colour Red

Age range is birth to 7 years old.  This is a very sensitive age where survival is paramount.  Thoughts of needing mother/father, shelter and beginnings of going to school starting to discover others.

Located at the base of the spine.  There is no back and front to this chakra, it just is.  Rather like the foundations of a house they need to be solid and strong.  This is the chakra most commonly to have been disturbed with the start of life.  It needs the most work to ensure the rest of the chakras remain in balance.  No matter what the start of life was like and what patterns may have been instilled, it can always be repaired and recovered to full strength with many lessons learned from the potential experiences.

Governs: Tailbone, relationship to ground, legs and feet, hip joints and pelvis.

Relates to Home life, security, tribe, right livelihood, groundedness

Out of balance: Not doing, thinking about doing but not taking action, no connection between thoughts and actions, feeling stuck.

Overall low energy: Not sleeping well, not feeling rested, fighting infection.

Healthy and balanced: Thoughts and feelings in accord with actions, present in the now. Feeling comfortable in the home and with high energy levels.  Confidence.

Return age: 49 to 56

Someone who doesn’t feel grounded can be spotted as they are always trying to do too much.  Taking on excessive responsibility, over thinking and overreacting both physically and mentally.  Often guilt driven.  Thoughts of not worthy or not being good enough.  ‘Poor me’ syndrome.

Many thoughts and feelings about what we want to do but aren’t.  No connection between thoughts and actions.  Stuckness.

I am safe,

I am home,

I am centred,

I am grounded

Sacral Chakra number 2 – Colour Orange.

Age range is 7 to 14 years.  This is where you develop relationships away from your close family.  Realise there is more to life than you thought.  Beginning to move away from parents to teachers, becoming independent and seeking out your own thoughts.

Located around the reproductive organs.  The purpose is sexuality and creativity.  Stage of creation and discovery.  Emotion of anger starts to develop.  How you digest ideas.

Front – how you give out to others in relationships/partnership. Back – how you relate to the outside world.

Governs: Reproductive organs, gladder, large intestine, small intestine.

Relates to: Sexuality, creativity, cash flow, self-worth, intimate relationships.

Out of balance: Frustration, disappointment, guilt and shame.  (The difference being guilt “I did something bad.” Whereas shame is “I am bad.”  Not accessing all of one’s personal power.  Dealing with unmet expectations of self or others.

Overall low energy: Creatively stuck.  Unhealthy intimate relationships, low self-worth.

Healthy and balanced:  Healthy equal intimate relationships, creativity flowing.

Return age: 56 to 63  Often a time when you’re coming to the end of a working career.

Blaming others is common of those with work needed to the sacral chakra.  Where they feel their life has been spoilt by school, parents, friends etc and leads to addictions such as alcohol where they blame the addiction for not moving forward.  Someone else’s fault or circumstances that weren’t of their own doing.  Misplaced self loyalty.  Lack of trust in themselves to achieve anything good.  Trying to be perfect or live up to someone else’s expectations once recognised that they are their own enemy and they can change their thoughts on that can bring changes.

If a child is very nurtured and encouraged during this chakras development they can achieve great results.  It’s just a matter of boosting their self-worth too.

I am creative

I feel connected to all the goodness and abundance that life has to offer

The sweetness of living easily flows through me, and I radiate this joy.

Solar Plexus number 3 – Colour Yellow

Age range 14 to 21 years.  This is where their own personal power develops.  Thoughts of their own self-worth.  Decisions, careers, where your place is in the universe.  We begin to seek relationships to develop our own families.  Even though the age range seems to have shifted in our modern world, our energy system and chakra development will still work to the ways and laws of nature.  There is no harm in pushing against them, of course this is how the world develops, but knowing the original plan can help us to understand the push and pull of the soul.

Located around the lower rib area.  This is said to be the seat of the soul.  The area which is strongest at giving and receiving energy.  Where we ‘give’ our energy away, often mistaken for other taking the energy.  Individualism starts to develop.  Stage of wisdom, ego, self.  The emotion of rejection.

Front – How we use our personal power within our lives.  Do we control or manipulate?

Back – Linked with our intent of our own healing.  Are we in the right place/house/relationship?  Not having enough sweetness in our lives – diabetes link.

Governs: Spleen, pancreas, stomach, kidneys, adrenals, liver, and gallbladder.  Relationship with mother and father.

Relates to: Self-confidence, self-esteem, how we interface with others’ energies, setting goals and achieving them.

Out of balance: Powerlessness, anger.

Overall low energy: Not assertive, challenged by setting and achieving goals, easily overwhelmed by others’ energies.

Healthy and balanced: Assertive, able to advocate for self, able to complete projects.

Return age 63 to 70.  Retirement age.  Questioning life purpose.  Feelings of rejection from society, no longer needed by family.

Being the seat of our soul, the solar plexus carries the emotions of our mother and father.  How our relationships have been with them and how our interaction with those energies have played out in our lives.  A very powerful area where we encounter ‘gut reactions’ that we either ignore or jump to.  Both actions having consequences that we measure in ways of good and bad.  A place where our destiny, it seems, can be determined.  The realisation only coming later that no matter which path we take, twists and turns, will always lead to the ultimate drive of achieving happiness.  The seat of the soul will seek this emotion, pushing us to feel this and that to help us learn and achieve this life-times goals.  Goals that we indeed set at the point of incarnation into being a human.  It is of course our disappointment that we have forgotten this at the point of feeling the effects of the journey.

I am strong

I am confident

I am powerful

Heart Chakra number 4 Colour Green or Pink

Age range 21 to 28 years.  A time when your thoughts go out to others as you realise the world isn’t just about the self.  Seeking marriage, children.  In our modern times we can see how this age range has very much expanded, where people think of having a family much later in life.  The heart is the bridge from physical to spiritual.  Being grounded is essential for the heart and emotions to be understood and not to be carried away.  As women take on more male roles within the work place, it pushes the nature of the chakras which can be confusing emotionally.  The more you can learn to know yourself and where your direction is heading the easier it becomes.

The 3 chakras below = low heart.  The 3 chakras above = high heart.  Transformation takes place when these merge and become one.

Located in the heart area – very easy to remember.  However the chakra is in the centre rather than on the left as in the physical heart.  Thymus is the related gland.  Purpose of joy and love.

Emotion is loss of love – heavy heart.

Front – unconditional love.  When the heart chakra is fully open and functioning we feel totally connected.  The more the heart is open the grater out capacity to love everything and love life itself.  Taking people for who they are.  Seeing the light in everyone.

Back – Ego will, outer will.  How we act in the outside world.  Physical effect can be immune system breakdown and confusion.

Governs:  Heart, lungs.

Relates to: Giving and receiving love, compassions and gratitude.

Out of balance: Sadness, grief and loss.  Saying yes when we mean no.  Overdoing for others. Overall low energy:Finding it a challenge to give and receive love.  Harbouring old pain and hurt.  Suffering from depression.

Healthy and balanced: Following your heart’s desire and able to love freely.

Return age 70 to 77.  Able to see things in a broader perspective.  Enjoying life free from burdens of previous family commitments.

When our world is in balance, we can actually feel our hearts ‘sing’.  To be at peace with yourself is to be in balance. Loving what you have, feeling you’re in the right place in life and just to be happy.  Our human trait is to look at the world through our judgement and also that of others.  To be able to turn this around and see the joy in everyday will bring you closer to your happy life.

My heart is open to receive the energy of love

I radiate this essence

I walk my path with grace and ease

Throat Chakra number 5 – Colour Blue

Age range 28 to 35 years.  Speaking about the society we live in, and how we feel about the environment.  We begin to find out voice, our right to speak our truth.  Classic age to join groups to support causes.  The age of feeling grown up and accepted.

Located in the throat area.  Thyroid is the related gland.  Purpose is communication of highest potential.  The stage of intention.  The emotion can be the lack of truth.  If we have not felt as though our voice has been heard throughout our younger life, this can lead to imbalance in this chakra.  We may feel we are not ‘allowed’ to speak or that if we do speak we will not be heard.

Front – Taking responsibility for personal needs.  Imbalance can show when you’re not willing to say how you feel. Speaking your truth.  Being true to your beliefs, regardless of other people’s opinions.

Back – Persons sense of self within society.  If you are not comfortable with where you are in your life this can often be covered up by pride and being gobby to compensate for lack of self esteem.  About personal friendships and discovering where you fit in.  Knowing you have the right to be in control of your life.

Governs: Thyroid, jaw, throat, faculty of hearing.

Relates to: Communication, speaking one’s truth, creativity.  (Speak of all your brilliance and of all your wonder)

Out of balance: Not communicating or expressing, holding back.  Speaking and not being heard.

Overall low energy:  Not expressing self, thyroid issued, throat problems, holding back.

Health and Balanced: Communicating clearly, feeling heard, particularly strong energy relates to teacher, writer or other communication vocation.

Return age 77 to 84  Probably speaking up quite well by this age.  More sure of your own life.  Able to ask for what you want.

Having a voice is very important.  We can easily make the assumption that others let us down as we don’t get what we want or need, but have we actually asked for and voiced what we want. A very common error.  Assumption is a trait that does not serve us well.  At the age of the throat chakra (28-35) we will meet many people who have differing opinions and we may learn to be quiet from previous childhood experiences.  It takes courage to speak your truth.

I am aligned with my highest truth and communicate this with love and honour

My words echo softly within the Universe

Brow/Third eye Chakra number 6 – Colour Indigo or Purple

Age range 35 to 42 years.  This is where you begin asking yourself if you’ve achieved all you want to in this life time.  A great time for reflection and thoughts of where do you fit in now.  Our mind and our thoughts are so powerful.  It can change the way you feel about yourself and the world by how your thoughts are inside your head.  The stage of intention is acceptance. The emotion is loss of clarity.

Located at the Third eye between the eyebrows.  Pituitary gland.  When a thought comes into your mind, either from something you see, read or just thinking, it is our reaction to this thought that governs our response and how it is returned.  To become the observer is a valuable skill to practice.  Not reacting or overreacting.

Front – Capacity to visualise and understand mental concepts.  Centre for creative ideas. Back – puts ideas into action. (Ideas need to be grounded to complete manifestation)

Governs: Pineal gland, brain.

Relates to: Intuition, thought processes.

Out of balance: Worrying about the future (anxiety).  Over thinking the past (depression)

Overall low energy: Inability to focus, distrust or disconnection from intuition.

Health and balanced: Clear third eye perception.  Mental focus and sharpness of the mind.

Return age 84 to 91.  Often at peace with your lot by this age.  Accepting of your life ready to move into the higher realms.

Mind chatter is the most common reason for worry.  When we focus on our worries nothing else can be clear.  To practice calming the mind is a lifetime effort, achieved one day and not the next.  A busy mind can drive us to distraction.

My mind is open to new vision I expand my awareness

through my higher self

Crown Chakra number 7 – Colour Violet

Age range 42 to 49 years.  This is a time where we look at issues in life in a broader perspective.  Maybe resolved issues of the brow chakra.  Acceptance of life ready to return to the base chakra.  A time where we can be reflective.  Making our peace with younger years.  A great time to feel life is great.

The location is at the top of the head.  Purpose of faith in the self.  Stage of connection.  Emotion of separation if not connected.  About our connection to spirituality.  When this centre is not functioning, you may have a sense of not knowing who you are.  It is linked to the oneness that resonates with the continuous flow of universal love, one with source, one with truth, connected to all souls, joy, peace, freedom, serenity, gratitude, knowing all your past experiences have brought you to this moment of love and acceptance.  Created spirituality as an integral part of life.

No back or front – direct link to the Universe.

Governs: Brain, relationship with time, relationship with the divine.

Relates to: Higher thinking, spatial intelligence, music.

Out of balance: Undefined.

Overall low energy: Difficulty focusing, overwhelmed by life, often a consequence of too much time inside.  Needing to be with nature.

Healthy and balanced: Right relationship with time and with the divine.  Good grounding.

Return age 91 to 98  A great respect for life.

Being intuitive is amazing but getting there is often a mystery.  A belief in the self and the Universe comes when intuition is listened to.  It takes practice, a leap of faith and encouragement from other like-minded people.  Being in the ‘right’ place helps to brighten the light that shines.  Seek the light and the world will follow.

I am connected to the Divine Source

of the Universal light

I am light

I trust

Thymus Chakra: Between the throat and heart.  Thymus and heart have separate locations on the body but inter-related functions.  Spiritual life force energy is received by this chakra.  This comes from our awareness and acceptance of our spiritual life.  The energy is then transformed for use in the etheric subtle body and physical bodies.

Thymus tapping:  When dormant – not connected with spiritual sense.  When activated it can strengthen immunity.
